Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Sayed Massoud, Consultant in Orthopedics, serves as Lecturer of Orthopedic Surgery at the Armed Forces College of Medicine (AFCM), Egypt, and as Consultant of Orthopedic Surgery at Helmeya Military Hospital, Egypt. He is an orthopedic surgeon, academic lecturer, and clinical consultant with professional interests in orthopedic trauma and fracture management, degenerative spinal disorders and spinal surgery, minimally invasive surgical techniques, medical education, and clinical research. His work combines clinical practice with undergraduate and postgraduate medical teaching, surgical training, and the development of educational resources for orthopedic residents and young doctors. He also contributes to teaching orthopedic surgery and orthopedic emergencies, developing educational curricula and clinical training programs, preparing and presenting specialized lectures and educational programs in orthopedic surgery and spine surgery, and academic publishing in orthopedics and spine surgery. His areas of expertise and interest include orthopedic trauma, fracture and injury management, spinal surgery and degenerative spinal diseases, minimally invasive spinal techniques, and Massoud–Goel Percutaneous Trans-Facet Fixation under local anesthesia.
